Finding opportunities is one thing, developing an effective contract winning proposal is another. Every business owner understands the importance of a good proposal. No matter how good your products, services, and employees may be, a quality document is usually the difference between landing a contract and being passed over for the competition. The rise of Internet- and email-based communication has sped up the frequency of modern correspondence, but with speed often comes a lack of clarity: fewer and fewer people today use their writing skills to great communicative effect, especially in situations that demand a great deal of technical knowledge, proficiency, and linguistic nuance.

The FMA understands this. We know that proposals are, at their heart, persuasive documents. They should engage readers, not put them to sleep with excessive detail or meaningless drivel. A good proposal persuades the reader into believing the submitter is the best and only choice for the task at hand. In today’s highly competitive market, it takes a special combination of writing experience and literary style to get on the Government’s short list of potential winners.

Further, many Government agencies tend to use short proposal deadlines as qualification tools: the companies that cannot respond in time are viewed as unfit to serve, regardless of their actual capabilities. To combat this trend, FMA staff excel at writing quality RFP responses in short order, even when the job entails pulling together specialized, highly technical information from a number of disparate sources.

In short, the FMA knows what the Government looks for in a proposal, and we have the wherewithal to produce results quickly and cost-efficiently – we can do in 7-10 days what might take other companies up to 4-6 weeks to accomplish. And while we cannot guarantee the ultimate success of a given proposal, we do guarantee that you’ll receive a strong, organized, professional, succinct body of work that represents your company properly – one you can use again and again throughout the life of your organization.
